What are the benefits of using a Pet sitter?

Your pet can stay in familiar surroundings while being cared for by a Professional insured Pet sitter. Your pet(s) will receive plenty of love and attention while in their own home and their routine will not be disrupted. A boarding facility can be a traumatic place for a pet. They are exposed to unfamiliar surroundings and the possibility of illness from other animals. A Pet sitter will also watch over your home, notify you if there is a problem with your house or your pet and also bring in mail, turn on/off lights and take out trash.

Why can’t i ask a friend or relative to watch my pet?

Taking care of a pet is a huge responsibility and can be quite an imposition on a friend or relative. Most people are busy and may not be able to devote the time and attention your pet may require. We are bonded and insured for your peace of mind and we are equipped to handle an emergency should one arise. If your travel plans change we will be available to continue to care for your pet until you return.

What information will i need during the introductory visit with my Pet Sitter?

Your Pet Sitter will bring a copy of our service agreement. The information needed is as follows: personal contact information, emergency contact information, veterinarian name and number, pet(s) information, pet medical history, and security system codes. We will also need a key to your home.

How are my keys handled?

For your security keys are labeled with your pets name only not your name, address or phone number and kept in a locked secure location in our home office.

What does a Pet Sitter do during a visit?

During an average visit the Pet Sitter provides fresh water for your pet and will feed if instructed to do so. They will take the dog for a walk or let the dog out for relief or exercise. At your introductory consultation you and your Pet Sitter will discuss the length of each visit and what services are to be provided.

When i go away how many Pet Sitting visits are recommended?

In most cases we recommend three visits per day for dogs and one visit per day for a cat. Your Pet Sitter works with you to set up a schedule that is comfortable for you and your pet.
